Privacy Policy

FindingFundaa is a curiosity-driven quizzing community operated by Calyirex Technologies Private Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”). This policy explains what personal information we collect through our website (findingfundaa.com) and our mobile apps, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what choices you have.

Account information

• Email address — required to send you a one-time sign-in code (OTP). We do not store passwords.
• Display name and (optional) avatar URL — shown on leaderboards and your profile.
• Phone number — only if you choose to provide it on the mailing list signup. We do not require it for the app.

Gameplay information

• Answers you submit, time taken to answer, hints opened, and the questions you save or report. We use this to compute your XP, streak, leaderboard rank, and to schedule spaced-repetition reviews of questions you got wrong.

Device & technical information

• Push notification token — issued by Firebase Cloud Messaging or Apple Push Notifications, used only to deliver notifications you opted into. You can revoke notification permission in your device settings any time.
• IP address and user agent — captured on authentication and form submissions for fraud prevention. Stored in our database, not shared.
• Crash and performance diagnostics — if you opt-in, we use Sentry / Firebase Crashlytics to capture stack traces. No personally identifying content is logged.

• We do not collect your contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or precise location.
• We do not record audio or video.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for their marketing.
• We do not run third-party tracking SDKs beyond what we use for our own crash reporting and ad rendering (see below).

• To run the quiz experience: deliver questions, count answers, compute streaks and leaderboards.
• To authenticate you (email OTP).
• To send notifications you have opted into (daily challenge, streak reminders, badges earned).
• To detect and prevent abuse (rate limiting, duplicate detection).
• To improve the app (anonymized analytics like “most-played genres”).

• Cloudflare — hosts the API and the website. Receives all your requests in transit. Cloudflare's privacy policy: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
• Resend — delivers transactional emails (OTP + welcome). Resend's privacy policy: resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.
• Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) — delivers push notifications. Standard Firebase privacy controls apply.
• Google AdMob — serves in-app ads. AdMob may collect anonymized device identifiers per Google's policies. You can reset or limit this in your device settings.
• Sentry / Firebase Crashlytics — crash diagnostics. Stack traces only; no message content or PII.

Account and gameplay data are retained for as long as your account is active. Mailing list signups are retained until you unsubscribe. OTP codes are deleted within 24 hours of issuance regardless of whether you used them.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing swasthika@calyirex.com. We will respond within 30 days. If you delete your account, your personal data is removed within 7 days; aggregated, anonymized analytics may persist.

You can manage notification permissions and ad personalization in your device's system settings independently of the app.

FindingFundaa is intended for users 13 and older (16 in regions governed by GDPR). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below these ages. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

All traffic between your device and our servers is encrypted with TLS. Authentication tokens are short-lived and rotated. Personal data is stored in Cloudflare D1 (SQLite at the edge) with access limited to authenticated administrators. We do not store your password — only one-time codes that expire in 10 minutes.

We may update this policy as the app evolves. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Substantial changes will be announced in-app or by email to mailing list subscribers.
